The Old Barn
I pass this barn all the time and I've been to it before to take pictures. I thought it was an abandoned barn, but I drove by it the other day and there's an old car in it, so I guess it's not that abandoned, oh well I'm going to keep shooting it until a old man and his dog comes barking.

Smoke
Yesterday I was heading to my friend Brandon's BBQ, and I got into his neighborhood and someone's house was smoking. It was completley engulfed with smoke, so I just had to shoot it. I've never had the chance to take pictures of some thing being on fire or smoking before, even though it seems to happen a lot. But everyone got out safe. To see more smoke click here.

Winder Roam
This past Friday Jessica Elliott and me went to Winder on some back roads looking for abandoned things, and we found them. We also found weird things in person. Let's just say on another abandoned hunt I'm bringing my pepper spray. But it was quit an adventure. We're going to have to go back, cause there was so much to shoot with so little time we had. To see more click here. Oh and thanks again Jessica!

Creative Loafing Internship
So I officially got the internship with Creative Loafing Atlanta. I am so excited, words cannot express how excited and grateful I am. I start April 8th! I know I'm going to learn so much from Joeff Davis and Taralynne Pixley. And each week I'm able to submit some photos for the Time and Place section in Creative Loafing, so if any body knows any thing going on that's cool or worth a picture let me know. Creative Loafing also has a flickr, and any one can join, upload there picture to show them what you do and how you do in the ATL!

First 100 Get Free Meal
Monroe finally got a Chick-fil-A. It opens tomorrow, people have been camping out for two days now for the grand opening in hopes of being the first one hundred, so they can get a free meal. It's pretty insane. To bad I don't have a tent, but if I did I don't think it would fit. It is crazy packed.
I Heart Road
So I'm driving to my house and on the side of the road there is a heart ballon just swaying as the cars zoom by. I had to stop and shoot it. I often see ballons caught in trees and runaway ballons in the sky, but never a heart ballon just floating on the side of the road. I wonder how it got there?. Any who I got a cool pic out of it.

On a Rainy Day...
"Queens of the Masquerade Ball"
This past Thursday I got the opportunity to shoot the Eighth Annual Ms. GECC Pageant along side Bob Connell. It was so much fun and I learned a lot. Bob gave me a lot of tips on how to shoot events like this and in general. The Pageant contestants were a hoot. There personalities definitley matched there getup. To see more pics click here.

Flamingos for Felines
Today I went to Discount Picture Framing to mount a picture for my commercial class. I normally notice the building right away, because it's bright yellow, but today it was covered in pink flamingos. I asked why all the flamingos?! They are raising money for an organization to help animals, felines in particular. I donated 5 dollars and got to pick a flamingo to tag. I named mine Pinky! To check out more flamingo picks click here.

Out to the Country
This saturday I took Lottie, Sam, Demetrius, and Julie out to the country, where I live. We found some cool and crazy places. An old recording studio and a vulture in the attic to name a few. And I'm loving this weekends weather. It's been so nice. To check out more click here.

Nat
This past Friday I shot my sister's friend Natalie for a redo in my portfolio development class. I knew I had to make the shoot worth it, so we went every where in my small town and found some cool places. I really like the small town girl feel in some of them. Feel free to check out more at my flickr.

Snow in March
So for the past two days we've had snow, some more than others. Well I got a lot, so much that a pine tree in my back yard decided to fall. Nothing was hurt, except an old fence that needed to be replaced any way. Now we have all the free fired wood we need! To check more out go to my flickr.
J-e-l-l-o Wrestling
This past saturday I got the chance to shoot Jello Wrestling at Uptown Loft with Project 96.1. It was crazy! I've never seen jello explode in my face before until now. Next time they should try it Italian style with pasta. Any way to check more out go to my flickr.

Shoot, Shoot, and More Shoot
Yesterday I was in Athens shooting a really cool dude, B Will. And yes it was rainy and overcast, but I said why not. I found some cool walls to shoot at and the rainy atmosphere added to it. I'm going to be shooting a lot in the next few days working on my re-do's for section c in portfolio development trying to get that winning shot!
And yes that is a Cocoa de Crispy cereal bag on my flash!
